AI+FM Workshop*

A one-day, hands-on workshop for experienced developers.

*With the collaboration of Claris

This intensive workshop is designed for experienced FileMaker developers who want to master the new artificial
intelligence capabilities integrated into the platform. This introductory session focuses on infrastructure setup,
embeddings, and text generation models, providing participants with the essential knowledge to begin
implementing AI solutions in FileMaker.

Only 12 spots per workshop

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?

– Specific configuration of AI servers for FileMaker.
– Deep fundamentals of text and image embedding models.
– Architecture and operation of text generation models.
– Integration with external services and AI APIs (Hugging Face, OpenAI, etc.).
– Advanced scripting for process automation with AI.

methodology

The training follows a constructivist approach where each theoretical concept is immediately consolidated with practical exercises. In the morning we will build the technical and conceptual foundations; in the afternoon, each participant will develop real implementations that can be taken directly to their projects.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  1. Set up a FileMaker AI server with external connections
  2. Gain a deep understanding of how different types of AI models work
  3. Implement advanced semantic searches using embeddings
  4. Develop applications with automatic content generation
  5. Integrate external AI services into FileMaker solutions

PARTICIPANT PROFILE

Prerequisites:

  1. Medium-high experience with FileMaker Pro.
  2. Advanced proficiency in FileMaker scripting.
  3. Solid knowledge of relational databases.
  4. Experience configuring FileMaker Server.
  5. Knowledge of API concepts and web services.

Story

“This idea did not come from a marketing plan. It came from Nicolas.”

Nicolas Franco, trainer, speaker, and technical expert, proposed something simple but powerful: bringing AI into a classroom, for one day, at full intensity.

Because talking about AI and doing AI are two very different things. From that spark, this tour was born: in-person, practical, intensive, and multilingual.

Madrid, Paris, Milan. The same idea, the same spirit, different communities.

Who will lead the workshop?

Nicolas Franco Cerame

Nicolas is a professional with extensive experience in the technology and creative sectors, specializing in digital product development and innovation.

His experience leading high-impact projects with international teams and his work as a trainer in corporate and academic environments allow him to offer a unique perspective. His approach combines a solid technical foundation with strategic vision, always focused on practical application and achieving tangible results.
